Add and position a shape

Choose an item from Shape & Line. Open its editor. Start with the item and its content values, then set Size % and Position. Some shapes can bind to text. Use Binding, Bound to and the available follow options instead of manually matching the text on every edit.

A bound shape follows its text. Move its handle to add an offset. Controls vary with the item; a text-bound shape does not expose the same sizing workflow as a free shape.

Style and animate

Use the look page to set Material, Fill and Stroke where the item supports them. Use Drawing Style for a supported hand-drawn variant; Wobble % and Boil appear for that style. Advanced stroke controls include dash, taper and joins.

Choose entry and exit styles in the motion page. Use Trim for the visible portion of a line. Enable Loop only on an item that supports it and set Period f. Use the common Timing page to place the result in its Target.
