Troubleshooting

The wheel or editor does not open

Enable MotionDeck in Preferences. Move the pointer to the 3D View and use Object Mode. Select a MotionDeck element, then tap E. Review shortcut conflicts if MotionDeck 1.0 or another extension is enabled. Read Blender's error report if the extension failed during registration.

A source is missing

Use Locate… for the affected source or Find Missing… for a wider search. Recheck the crop, video range and key after relinking. A logical media name in an example deck does not include the image or video itself.

The green-screen edge looks wrong

Run Detect Screen on representative footage. Inspect Check and View. Review protected colours before increasing edge or spill corrections. Test several video frames, not only the current frame.

A change disappears after choosing a recipe

Read the paused-edits notice. Reapply the desired edits or discard them deliberately. Check the current format and the Stack's Formats section before changing positions again.

A pack is rejected or an item is absent

Keep the reported diagnostic. Re-download a corrupt file from its source. Do not rename internal files or extract an unsafe archive to bypass validation. Unsupported content may be reserved for a future consumer even when its manifest is readable.

Report a problem

Write to [email protected]. We reply within 2 business days. Save a copy of the Blender file. Record the MotionDeck build, Blender version, operating system, steps and exact error. Include a small reproducible deck when possible. Remove private media before sharing it.
